Ortega High School is a Model Continuation High School within the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. Continuation High Schools are designed to meet the needs of students 16 through 18 years of age. Students enrolled in continuation high school are not exempt from compulsory school attendance, but are deemed at-risk of not completing their schooling if they continue attending their assigned high school.
Students can make up credits in an effort to return to the comprehensive high schools or can graduate from Ortega High School. We offer a small school setting, a safe, clean environment, and an opportunity to achieve. Classrooms have small teacher to student ratios that offer more individualized teaching and tutoring.
