Save A Life. Donate Blood.
This year OHS Leadership will host 3 blood drives. This will give our students the opportunity to give back to our community by saving lives and earn up to 30 hours of community service. Here are the scheduled dates:
Tuesday, September 29
Thursday, January 28
Wednesday, March 10
If a student donates blood they are not able to engage in strenuous activities for that and they should eat foods high in iron several days before the blood drive. This is why we offer them so many hours. If a student is not able to donate we will still give those students 2 hours for the effort of eating right and preparing for the donation.
Sign-ups will be available in the quad during break.
Earn up to 10 hours community service for each event.

Our school needs your help!
Save your empty inkjet printer cartridges and old cell phones - they have value. The school will earn money for each cartridge and phone.
Plus . . . each student can earn 2 hours community service for each item.
